Housefly (Cedric de Saint-Rome) is a Canadian composer, producer and multi-instrumentalist (drums, classical and jazz piano, percussion, guitar, saxophone, and ukulele). Having been signed to grammy-winning publishing house Prescription Songs by T-Pain's manager at age 20, Housefly’s genre-bending works break apart and fuse elements from countless styles including jazz, hip hop, blues, electronic dance music, and classical.

Canadian by birth, Housefly’s multinational background (counting Finnish, Swedish, French, and Haitian among his recent ancestries) contributes a multi-platform melodic and rhythmic sensitivity to his music, which resonates with audiences from North American adolescents to European classical music buffs. His Royal Conservatory examinations and awards in classical piano competitions would probably come as a surprise those who follow him as Housefly. He is currently in his third year of studying jazz performance and music entrepreneurship at McGill University.
